1. Agreement

By creating an account or using JustTapMe, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and Community & Safety Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use JustTapMe’s adult people-discovery, dating, Speed Connect and After Hours experiences. You must provide accurate account information and may not impersonate another person or create an account for someone without authority.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity through your account and for protecting passwords, OTPs and recovery codes. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may require verification or restrict suspicious sessions to protect users.

4. Social interaction and consent

JustTapMe helps people meet and communicate; it does not guarantee identity, compatibility, behavior, attendance, safety or outcomes. Respect consent at every stage. A connection, rating, QR scan, event attendance or profile view is never consent to physical, sexual, financial or off-platform contact.

5. Community conduct

You may not use JustTapMe for harassment, threats, stalking, hate, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, scams, credential theft, illegal goods/services, spam, malicious automation or conduct that creates a material safety risk. Our Community Rules provide more detail.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service and comply with law. You must have the rights needed to upload your content.

7. Ratings and recommendations

Community Stars, recommendations, AI prompts, compatibility-style themes and risk/safety signals are product aids, not objective judgments. Do not use them as the sole basis for employment, housing, credit, insurance, legal, medical or other high-impact decisions. We may suppress, aggregate or remove ratings to address abuse.

8. Safety features

Safety tools can assist with check-ins, trusted contacts, blocking and reporting, but they are not emergency services and cannot guarantee that a message reaches a third party. If you face immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

9. Location and proximity

Nearby features are approximate. GPS, BLE, NFC and UWB availability varies by device/build, environmental conditions and permissions. Do not rely on proximity features for navigation, emergency response or precise tracking.

10. Events, venues and transactions

Third-party venues, organizers, promoters and service providers are responsible for their own offerings. Ticket, subscription, refund and payment terms may also be governed by the applicable payment provider or event terms displayed at purchase.

11. Offline mode

Limited offline functionality may use data previously saved on your device and may queue supported actions for later synchronization. Cached information can be stale. Live Radar, verification, payments, server moderation, provider-backed AI and safety-provider delivery require connectivity.

12. Support access, moderation and audit records

To provide account support, investigate safety reports, prevent fraud and operate the service, authorized JustTapMe personnel may access account metadata, product activity records, device/session information and support-relevant account views. Support impersonation, when used, is visibly identified in the account and recorded in an administrator audit log. Private message content is not routinely read for general analytics; content may be reviewed when a user reports it, where moderation evidence is supplied, when you expressly request support involving that content, or where access is otherwise legally required. Access is role-restricted and logged.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary for security, safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention or serious/repeated violations. We will use proportionate measures where practicable.

14. Account deletion

You can request deletion in-app or through the Account Deletion page. Deletion is subject to stated grace periods and legally required retention.

15. Intellectual property

JustTapMe software, branding, design and service content (excluding user content) are owned by or licensed to RepuShield (Pty) Ltd. You may not reverse engineer, resell, scrape at scale or misuse the service except as permitted by law or written authorization.

16. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every interaction, user, venue, event, recommendation or third-party service is accurate or safe.

17. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, third-party conduct or unavailable third-party systems. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rights that apply to you.
